Pick the question the night before
Something small and specific. Not 'what should I do with my life'. Try 'what is the actual next step on the kitchen renovation?' or 'why am I dreading Thursday?'.
Ten minutes, no inputs
Leave the phone. Leave the podcast. Walk. Your brain will fight you for the first three minutes and then hand you the answer somewhere around minute seven. Every time.
